A teenager’s first concert and first festival. Things to never be forgotten. Ever. Music is all that matters to a teenage girl, right? I mean after boys, tanning, and hair straightening.

In a nutshell, when all these material things are gone, music stays; It brings people together, and it inspires. Marcus Haney’s documentary about “sneaking in and breaking out” truly reveals how music can capture the hearts of many.

So, what’s the best concert/festival you’ve ever been to?

Best performer I have seen was Young the Giant. The most fun concert I have been to though is Rebelution and Iration at the SB Bowl (their hometown, and mine). I love your writing, by the way, it is different from a lot of other blogs I have read

Thank you so much! I hope to interest people with my posts, even if it’s just a bit. And I’ve yet to see young the giant!!! but I definitely want to. And that’s awesome! What made it so fun?
I hope you get to go to many more fun shows in the future ~~

It was a great concert I think because santa barbara is where both of those bands are formed so I think they were super excited to be there, and it felt like the whole town came to cheer them on. A great sense of community and good vibes

That definitely sounds like it would have been a lot of fun. It’s always extra cool to see bands in their hometown, especially when it’s yours too. Good vibes are always a definitely plus as well; gotta love them!
